Clinical sensitivity, specificity and accuracy
Nasopharyngeal swab

Clinical sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of Orient Gene's coronavirus rapid test cassettes were evaluated in an outpatient setting by testing patients in the United States.

The testing was performed by 24 health professionals who were unfamiliar with the testing procedure. A total of 865 fresh nasopharyngeal swabs were collected and tested, of which 119 were positive and 746 were negative. Based on the results, it is established:

Relative sensitivity - 98.32%

Relative specificity - 99.60%

Accuracy: 99.42%

Nasal swab

Based on the results, it is established:
